Refund & Dispute Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

1. What you can buy from Hahoowa

Hahoowa sells its own digital services to the people who use it. Everything listed below is delivered inside the app immediately after payment:

Service What it is
Hahoowa Pro Monthly or yearly subscription: advanced publishing and creator tools.
Vitrine Pro Monthly or yearly subscription: professional storefront features.
Boost Temporary extra visibility for one of your own listings (1, 3 or 7 days).
Advertising budget A prepaid balance consumed as your ads are displayed.
Sponsoring Amplified display of one of your listings to a chosen audience.
Balance top-up An in-app balance used to send virtual gifts to creators during live streams.
Creator subscription A monthly subscription to one creator, unlocking the exclusive content they publish. Hahoowa keeps 30% and pays the creator 70%.

Current prices are published at hahoowa.com/pricing and are always shown again, in your own currency, on the payment screen before you confirm.

2. What Hahoowa does NOT charge for

Hahoowa is a bulletin board. Sales between users do not go through Hahoowa.

  • We take 0% commission on what users sell to each other.
  • We do not process buyer-to-seller payments, and we never hold their funds.
  • We do not ship, deliver, or guarantee any item listed by a user.

One exception, stated plainly: creator subscriptions are not a sale between users. They are a Hahoowa service, we do collect the payment, and we keep 30% of it. It is listed in the table above with everything else we charge for.

Buyers and sellers arrange payment and delivery directly between themselves. A dispute about a listed item is a matter between those two people; it is not a Hahoowa transaction and cannot be refunded by us. Where a listing breaks our rules, report it — we moderate content, which is a different remedy from a refund.

3. Refunds

Write to support@hahoowa.app, or use the in-app support screen. We answer within 2 business days.

We refund in full when the service was not delivered:

  • a Boost that was paid for but never displayed;
  • a subscription charged after you had already cancelled;
  • a duplicate charge for the same service;
  • any service made unavailable by a failure on our side.

We refund pro rata the unused part of a prepaid advertising budget, at your request, at any time.

We generally do not refund a service that was delivered as described — a boost that ran for its full period, ad budget already spent on real impressions, or a subscription period you had access to throughout. Consumer protection rights in your country still apply and always override this paragraph.

Internal balance and virtual gifts. A top-up is an advance on services: it is not convertible into cash, not transferable, and does not expire. The part you have not spent is refundable on request, including when you close your account. A gift already sent to a creator, and an AI video already generated, cannot be refunded — the creator has been credited and the provider has billed us.

Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method. Your bank usually posts them within 5–10 business days.

4. Cancelling a subscription

In the mobile app: Profile → Billing → Subscription, then "Cancel".

On the web, subscription management is not yet available in your account. Until it is, email support@hahoowa.app from your account address and we cancel it for you — we treat the date of your email as the cancellation date, so you are never charged for a period because a screen was missing.

Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, then the subscription simply stops. Cancelling does not, on its own, refund the current period — see section 3.

5. Card disputes (chargebacks)

If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us first: we can usually identify and refund it faster than a bank dispute, which takes weeks.

When a dispute is raised, we respond within Stripe's deadline with the evidence we hold: account history, the timestamp at which the service was activated, and the delivery logs for the boost, campaign or subscription concerned.
